    Upon reading the side effects online, it seems that the drug is quite toxic. Many thanks Hi, Plaquenil is amongst the first line of drugs in the management of Lichen Planopilaris (LPP). It is an excellent drug in the condition and I have used it a lot over the years since it is used in many other skin diseases besides LPP as well.

    My mother just got sent to be checked for Lupus due to chronic joint pains since being a teenager. I don't have the severe joint pains my mom gets but I do get random fevers every 6 months or so that have no defined cause. Does anyone know if you have to be weaned off Plaquenil? I've.
