I'm not one to comment but I read so many reviews that sounded like either my ups or downs, so I want to encourage ppl to stick w/this med & try name brand though expensive if having bad side effects w/generic. It could explain why some ppl have such opposite experiences. I get Plaquenil from international pharm & it's much cheaper. Some side effects may occur that usually do not need medical attention. These side effects may go away during treatment as your body adjusts to the medicine. Also, your health care professional may be able to tell you about ways to prevent or reduce some of these side effects. Severe depression and anxiety, overall itching, pain and stiffness increased instead of decreased. First, my mother and sister took plaquenil for lupus with good effect, so I am not just disliking it for no good reason. I also suffer from disabling bipolar disorder. For 25 years, I have gotten hypomanic during spring.
