Can i take ginsing of i'm am on plaquenil

So far I have no more energy than when I first started and has developed neuropathy which I have just found out from Web MD that this neuropathy is one of the side effects of this med! Saying that by stopping this it would take another 6 months to build up the benefit. There are other meds that can help with what you are experiencing, and if your doctor didn't address that then I would seek out a second opinion... Please don't stop your plaquenil until you are sure it is the right thing to do and in your best interest.

I don't have in more I have ra, am taking leflunomide 20 mg, prednisone 2.5 and plaquenil hydroxychloroquine 200 mg. I don't have ins. What will happen if i can't afford to continue my meds? It is now 6 weeks later, I've titrated up to 600mg. per day, and I am SEVERELY depressed, to the point I can't get out of bed some days. I am sicker mentally than I have been for 16 years, and it didn't start until I started the plaquenil. I'm so anxious, I'm agoraphobic and having anger attacks. I have never been agoraphobic in my life. My plaquenil post Plaquenil can make you completely blind! *Legitimate looking vitamins I take to help remediate it I took Plaquenil for over 13 years and it caused me and 6 in every 1000 patients, new research shows to have toxic maculopathy it caused. *re even if you quit taking the drug, it can continue to damage the eye until blindness occurs.

Plaquenil is a 6-weeker as far as the benefits are concerned, but it would be more dangerous to stop if you spend a lot of time outside and if this were the summer. Or maybe another doctor if you're not comfortable w/your current one.

My question is for those that have taken Plaquenil/Hydroxychloroquine. How long did it take for it to remove symptoms in your personal experience? I know I've read it can take up to 6 months but what I'm wondering is, do you just wake up one day and find it's kicked in 6 months down the road or more likely, it starts to work slowly over 6 months? This means that adults take Panax ginseng for two to three weeks and then stop treatment for two weeks before resuming. Common over-the-counter preparations of Panax ginseng include dried or fluid extract, fresh or dried root, and liquid tincture. Healthy adults may take 200 milligrams of standardized dried extract up to three times daily. Neuropathy can also be caused by the Lupus itself. I have them too. I have SLE, Sjogren's APS, Hemolytic Anemia, Heart disease and now the neuropathy in my right leg. It takes a really long time for the Plaquenil to kick in. It may even take a year. Mine didn't start working until I was on it for 8 months and I take more than you do.
